Kansas City Chiefs Roster

Bengals UNDER 10.5 points (+100)

Cincinnati Bengals Vs Kansas City Chiefs Predictions Bleacher Report

The Bengals will start QB Ryan Finley in this game and that is great news for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh has one of the best scoring defenses in the NFL and should have no problem keeping the Bengals at or below 10 points. Look for Cincy to pass midfield only a few times in this game.

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger OVER 1.5 passing touchdowns (-225)

Over the last few weeks, Roethlisberger has struggled. However, this is a “get-right” game for the future Hall of Fame quarterback. The Bengals aren’t very good in the secondary and Roethlisberger should have a ton of success in a game that could turn into a blowout very quickly.

Steelers WR Chase Claypool OVER 40.5 receiving yards (-105)

Cincinnati Bengals Vs Kansas City Chiefs Predictions 2020

After a huge start to the season, things have calmed down for Claypool over the last few weeks. But with this offense needing more big plays, look for the Steelers to take some shots down the field and when they do, for Claypool to be on the receiving end. All he needs is a target or two to make the Over here, but expect this to be a monster game for the former Notre Dame star.

Predictions

Bengals WR A.J. Green Under 31.5 yards (-110)

Green struggled with Joe Burrow in the lineup. Now, he will be playing with a third-string quarterback who doesn’t push the ball down the field. Look for Ryan Finley to throw the ball to running backs and to tight ends versus challenging Pittsburgh’s top cornerbacks. Take the Under on receiving yards for Green here as it could be a really rough day for the former All-Pro receiver.

Steelers RB James Conner OVER 38.5 rushing yards (-130)

Pittsburgh’s rushing attack has been non-existent over the last few weeks. But against a Bengals’ defense that will be without DT Geno Atkins, look for that to change. Conner should see 15-16 carries in this game and easily exceed 38.5 yards in this game. In fact, don’t be surprised if this is a 100-yard day for Conner on Monday Night Football.

The Kansas City Chiefs will be trying to advance to the AFC Championship Game for the third consecutive year when they face the Cleveland Browns in the Divisional Round of the AFC playoffs on Sunday afternoon. The Browns are coming off a 48-37 win over Pittsburgh as 5.5-point underdogs in the Wildcard round. The Chiefs are coming off a 38-21 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers as 6.5-point underdogs.

Kansas City is 6-3 in their last nine games against Cleveland.

Browns Feeling Dangerous

The Browns weren’t given much of a chance against Pittsburgh in their last game, but they proved their doubters wrong with an impressive road win over the rivals. They are once again the underdogs heading into this game and will love to prove their doubters wrong once again and advance to their first AFC Championship Game since 1989.

Cleveland played well offensively against the Steelers, scoring 48 points in the win. Baker Mayfield completed 61.8 percent of his passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns. Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt combined for 124 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while Jarvis Landry led the team with 92 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Even though they gave up 37 points, Cleveland’s defense was a big reason the team won the game. They forced the Steelers to turn the ball over five times, which led to great field position and easy touchdowns. They will face a tougher test against the Chiefs but will give themselves a chance to win this game if they can force the Chiefs into making costly mistakes.

Chiefs Begin Title Defense

The Chiefs cruised through the regular season without much of a challenge, winning 14 of their 16 games. They are hoping to become the first team to repeat as champions since the New England Patriots did it in the 2003 and 2004 seasons, but they will face a tough test against the Browns.

Kansas City was one of the best offensive teams in the league, averaging 29.6 points per game. They averaged 303.4 passing yards and 112.4 rushing yards per game.

Patrick Mahomes completed 66.3 percent of his passes for 4,740 yards, 38 touchdowns, and six interceptions. Clyde Edwards-Helaire led the team with 803 rushing yards and four touchdowns, while Travis Kelce led the team with 1,416 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.

Edwards-Helaire missed the team’s last three games with an ankle injury. He has been upgraded to questionable for this game.

Kansas City also played well defensively, giving up 22.6 points per game. They gave up 38 points in their last game, but a lot of their starters did not play. Expect a better defensive effort from them in this game.
